RadTac Server 2000 rel 7.5.6 Radius Server For Windows 2000 2003 XP 98 ME

This is the last release of the most famouse software for authentication radius in the world. From 1995 we have installed more than 191300 license in all the world. RadTac work as service of Windows 2000-2003 or on desktop for Windows ME-98. Evaluation work for 30 days and not have service, only desktop application. In this release we have increase the feauture of the software. Now RadTac support a check bit in user table and also in Group Table that permit to reject request of access widthout Telephone Number identifier (Calling-Station-ID). There is also important fix for mouthly hours counter procedure.

RadTac 2000 Basic Information.

Media Online Italia has achieved the first Radius Tacacs Server perfectly integrated with Windows 2000-2003 Active Directory and Windows NT Server 4.0 SAM Database but also usable with Windows XP-95-98-ME. Radius and Tacacs are authentication protocols, supported by various Router producers. ASCEND and Cisco produce and commercialize Access Server with protocol of authentication Tacacs and Radius. The characteristics of RadTac 2000 Server are unique. The speed of validation and the security of the database of the internet user are guaranteed directly from the operating system. RadTac 2000 Server valid the user using same user database of Windows NT or the Active Directory of Windows 2000 Server. RadTac 2000 Server uses the formulations of belongings of the user to the Global Group of Windows NT for being able to manage the several type of access to the network.

In the Option of the RadTac Manager Server is possible select two formality of different operation:

 

• Windows 2000-2003 and NT Authentication.
• Internal Microsoft Access Database Authentication.

Windows 2000-2003 and NT Authentication Method.

If RadTac 2000 Server has set in modality "Windows 2000 or NT Authentication" the remote users could be loaded through the Active Directory Users And Computer of Windows 2000 Server or SAM User Manager of Windows NT or through the Web pages of Remote administration. During the phase of authentication, first RadTac 2000 Server requires the authentication to the Server Windows 2000 or NT (like a logon locally to local net) and then if the result of the validation is positive it look the same query to the Inside database. The user inserted through Web pages in remote administration is considered "Temporary". The system administrator in a second moment inserts the user in active directory database, for Windows 2000, or in database of Windows NT. If the remote user subsequently comes inserted in the database of Windows 2000 or NT, to the first logon on RadTac 2000 Server acquires the DEFINITIVE STATE. This procedure is only recommended, it is not in demand, the administrator can also decide to leave the user only in the Microsoft Access inside database.

Database Access Authentication Method.

If RadTac 2000 Server has set in formality "Internal Microsoft Access Database Authentication" the remote user could be inserted through the RadTac 2000 Administrator or through the Web pages of Remote Administration.

RadTac 2000 Server is distributed in shareware. A 30 day trail period is permitted, to continue use of the product it needs to be registered.
