Learning Objectives

At the end of this course you will:

• Understand the Scrum framework and the underlying values and principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace and facing complex decisions.
• Have a clear understanding of the rules of Scrum through the empirical foundation of Scrum.
• Have the ability to act as a Scrum Master for Scrum Teams as well as stakeholders from an in-depth understanding of servant-leadership.
  
• Effectively be able to start up Scrum or increase its effectiveness if already underway.
  

Audience

The Professional Scrum Master course is for anyone involved in software development using the Scrum framework. It is particularly beneficial for those people within an organisation accountable for getting the most out of Scrum, including Scrum Masters, managers, and Scrum Team members.

There are no prerequisites to take this course.

Certifying Bodies & Exams

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive a password to attempt the PSM I assessment, and are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II assessment. The industry-recognised PSM certifications require a minimum passing score on these rigorous assessments.

• Exam Access: Attending this training includes one free attempt at the PSM I assessment

Online Details

We use Zoom video conferencing to host our live online courses via a virtual classroom. We recommend that before registering participants run a zoom test meeting and check system requirements to ensure they are able to connect. Participants will also use our digital workspace, Mural and our Agile Tools Mobile app for collaboration with the class and completing exercises for the duration of the course. You’ll find links below to test and explain requirements for each of these tools.
