Audience

The Professional Scrum Product Owner course may be interesting to all involved in software development upon the Scrum framework, but has been specifically conceived for those responsible over products from a business and product management perspective and taking up the highly accountable role of Scrum Product Owner. No pre-existing knowledge of Scrum is required to attend.

There are no prerequisites to take this course.

Course Preparation

We recommend participants prepare for this course by familiarising themselves with the Scrum Guide.

Certifying Bodies & Exams

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner course receive a password to take the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) assessment. If you attempt the PSPO I assessment within 14 days of the class and do not score at least 85%, you will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost. You are also entitled to a 40% discount on the PSPO II assessment.

You will receive two days of high quality instruction from one of our Scrum.org accredited trainers. Also included are:

• Course materials
• Password to take the PSM I assessment
• If you successfully complete PSM I assessment you will receive certification along with the PSM I logo to identify your achievement
• Discount on the PSM II assessment.

PMI Professional Development Units (PDUS)

Attendees may be eligible to apply for PDUs towards their continuing education requirements with PMI
Please note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance and not for passing a Scrum.org assessment.

Online Details

We use Zoom video conferencing to host our live online courses via a virtual classroom. We recommend that before registering participants run a zoom test meeting and check system requirements to ensure they are able to connect. Participants will also use our digital workspace, Mural and our Agile Tools Mobile app for collaboration with the class and completing exercises for the duration of the course. You’ll find links below to test and explain requirements for each of these tools.
