During this three-day course, gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in the SAFe enterprise. Through experiential learning, examine the RTE role in a Lean- Agile transformation. Learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. Explore how to prepare, plan, and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organisation.
COVID-19
On 3 March 2020, Scaled Agile announced it would allow requests for remote course delivery for all SAFe courses. Additional guidance from their team effective from 9 June 2020 allows the remote delivery of SAFe classes on an on-going basis if required. Radtac is planning to to facilitate many of our scheduled training via our Live-Online virtual classroom. What is a Live-Online course?
Live-Online courses are those delivered via our virtual (online) classroom. You will collaborate and interact with your course tutor and participants in real-time via video conferencing and our our digital workspace. You can read more about our Live-Online courses, tools and watch a short video on what to expect here. For public scheduled Live-Online courses you should for look for the dates with a location set as Live-Online <city>. The city is used to highlight the timezone the class will be set in but can be joined by anyone who can be present during the duration of the course.

Darren has a background in commercial management, being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers following sixteen years in Retail Banking. This culminated as a Senior Personal Banking Manager within the Guildford Group of Branches. A career change into IT in the late 1990s has led to a number of senior IT positions with world-class organisations in the travel and transport industry. Darren is now an active Agile practitioner, coach and is a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT), one of a small number in the UK. The SPCT Certification is the highest level of certification provided by Scaled Agile. He is also an accredited contributor to the SAFe Reference Guide. Darren is a Chartered IT Professional and frequent contributor to local Agile Interest Groups. He is the Treasurer of BCS Kent Branch and co-founder of the Kent Scrum User Group and more recently the founder of the London SAFe Meetup Group.
