COVID-19

On Tuesday 10th March 2020, Scrum Alliance announced it would allow the remote delivery of CSPO training for a limited time. While Scrum Alliance permit remote delivery, Radtac is planning to to facilitate many of our scheduled training via our Live-Online virtual classroom. We are continually reviewing this decision based on advice from the local authorities in the region of delivery to ensure the safety of our clients. team and partners. We understand in-person interactive collaborative training experiences are preferred by many of our clients, we want to ensure that during challenging times different approaches are available to support our clients.

What is a Live-Online course?

Live-Online courses are those delivered via our virtual (online) classroom. You will collaborate and interact with your course tutor and participants in real-time via video conferencing and our our digital workspace. You can read more about our Live-Online courses, tools and watch a short video on what to expect here. For public scheduled Live-Online courses you should for look for the dates with a location set as Live-Online <city>. The city is used to highlight the timezone the class will be set in but can be joined by anyone who can be present during the duration of the course.

This course will benefit anyone who seeks to achieve the accountability of Certified Scrum Product Owner® to drive development of complex products using Scrum. It will benefit anyone in Product Owner / Management roles and will also be of interest to Scrum Master, Project managers and team members. The course is also suitable for those involved in transitioning to Scrum within their own organisation.

There are no prerequisites for the course.

Prior to attending the course, students should familiarise themselves with key Scrum terms and definitions, as described in the Scrum Guide.

After successfully completing a two-day Certified Product Owner course, you are eligible for registration with the Scrum Alliance. Unlike the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course, the CSPO course is not examined and you will automatically be granted CSPO status once you are registered with the Scrum Alliance.

Please note as the Scrum Alliance requires you to attend and complete two-days (16-hours) of classroom based training in-person, if you are not present at training for the required hours on both days our Certified Scrum Trainer reserves the right to not register you with the Scrum Alliance.

Certification Renewal

• Renewals are from the date of certification
• Renewal fee is $100 and covers two years extension from your current expiration date.

You will receive two days of high quality instruction from one of Certified Scrum Trainers (CST).

• Scrum Alliance certificate of course completion

• Scrum Education Units (SEUs) - attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 SEUs towards their CSP (Certified Scrum Professional) with the Scrum Alliance.
• PMI Professional Development Units (PDUS) - attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 PDUs towards their continuing education requirements with PMI

We use Zoom video conferencing to host our live online courses via a virtual classroom. We recommend that before registering participants run a zoom test meeting and check system requirements to ensure they are able to connect. Participants will also use our digital workspace, Mural and our Agile Tools Mobile app for collaboration with the class and completing exercises for the duration of the course.
