As a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) your job is to help the Scrum Team perform at their highest level. This course will give you the structure and the confidence to ensure the Scrum Team understands and enacts the Scrum framework works effectively together and also protects them from both internal and external distractions.

Our Certified ScrumMaster course, which is accredited by Scrum Alliance, will allow you to demonstrate your awareness of the Scrum framework and knowledge of team roles, events, and artefacts in an industry recognised certification - CSM.

COVID-19

On Tuesday 10th March 2020, Scrum Alliance announced it would allow the remote delivery of CSM training for a limited time. While Scrum Alliance permit remote delivery, Radtac is planning to facilitate many of our scheduled training via our Live-Online virtual classroom. We are continually reviewing this decision based on advice from the local authorities in the region of delivery to ensure the safety of our clients. team and partners. We understand in-person interactive collaborative training experiences are preferred by many of our clients, we want to ensure that during challenging times different approaches are available to support our clients.

What is a Live-Online course?

Live-Online Courses are those delivered via our virtual (online) classroom. You will collaborate and interact with your course tutor and participants in real-time via video conferencing and our digital workspace. You can read more about our Live-Online courses, tools and watch a short video on what to expect here. For public scheduled Live-Online courses you should look for the dates with a location set as Live-Online <city>. The city is used to highlight the timezone the class will be set in but can be joined by anyone who can be present during the duration of the course.

This course will benefit anyone who seeks to achieve the role of Certified ScrumMaster® to drive a project or product development with Scrum.

It will also benefit anyone who currently uses scrum or wishes to transition to scrum. The course will benefit those in a wide variety roles involved in product development such as Developers, Testers, Team Leaders, Designers, Project Managers, Sales, Marketing and many others.

There are no prerequisites for the course however prior to attending we'd recommend you complete the pre-course reading and review the Scrum Alliance requirements for certification.

Allow some time prior to the course to familiarise yourself with key Scrum terms and definitions, as described in the Scrum Guide.

This course is certified by the Scrum Alliance®.

To obtain your CSM® certification Scrum Alliance requires you to:

• Attend an in-person, 16-hour course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®)
• After successfully completing the course, you will need to take the 50 question CSM test and answer 37 out of the 50 questions correctly within the 60-minute time limit. There will be two free attempts included in the fees paid and any attempt thereafter will have a charge of $25.
• After you pass the CSM test, you will be asked to accept the CSM License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile

Two days of high-quality instruction from one of our Scrum Alliance® Certified Scrum Trainers®. Also included are:

• Course presentation slides and all materials.
• Access to the Certified ScrumMaster® exam.
• Recognition as a Certified ScrumMaster after passing the exam & two years membership to the Scrum Alliance.

We use Zoom video conferencing to host our live online courses via a virtual classroom. We recommend that before registering participants run a zoom test meeting and check system requirements to ensure they are able to connect. Participants will also use our digital workspace, Mural and our Agile Tools Mobile app for collaboration with the class and completing exercises for the duration of the course. You’ll find links below to test and explain requirements for each of these tools.
